Former Miss World Kenya 2016 Roshanara Ebrahim has nowhere to run for help as the court sealed her fate with a shocking verdict.
Roshanara Ebrahim was dethroned some five months ago over claims she had been linked to romantic involvement with a local politician.
The franchise holder, Ashleys Kenya Ltd, stripped her of the title on what they termed as breach of their code of conduct.
“Effective immediately, Roshanara Ebrahim will not be representing the country both domestically and internationally as Miss World Kenya. A grave situation has come to our attention that is in breach of our Code of Conduct and our contract with the reigning Miss World Kenya 2016 Roshanara. We uphold a strict code of conduct that expects Beauty Queens to manage their public and private life. This decision has been communicated to Roshanara.” A statement from Ashleys Kenya Ltd read.
Miss Ebrahim was replaced with Evelyne Njambi, 23-year-old interior design student at Maseno University.
The dethroned Miss World Kenya 2016 decided to argue her case in the corridors of justice in hope she would get her crown back
